South Carolina Christian Foundation assists donors in making their greatest charitable impact, often accomplished by providing education and advice regarding “tax-wise” giving and the strategic use of assets to achieve their giving goals while maximizing charitable deductions and tax benefits. Yet, SCCF also works to make charitable gifts more impactful by helping recipient ministries be more effective and efficient thus making “donor dollars” go further and do greater work. This initiative is known as Ministry to Ministries and aims to enhance the effectiveness of local Christian charities.

For over 25 years, SCCF has worked with local non-profits doing incredible ministry in the community. Over this time, it has become clear that several areas need to be addressed to help ministry leaders and their ministries thrive. These areas include Spiritual Health, Emotional Balance, Organizational Administration, and Financial Assistance.

Since 2003, SCCF has addressed financial assistance by providing annual grants to local Christian ministries through SCCF’s Community Trust, a collective giving fund supported by donors. By 2014, SCCF began supporting the spiritual/emotional foundation and organizational health of ministries as it formalized Ministry to Ministries (M2M). Established in partnership with and led by Rob Nelson, Founder of GracePointe Ministries, the mission of Ministry to Ministries is to nurture Christian ministry leaders toward healthy mindsets, foster collaborative relationships, and promote organizational excellence to enhance their effectiveness and the ministries they lead.

NURTURING. COLLABORATING. ENHANCING.

These three words define the essence of Ministry to Ministries. Since its inception, M2M has served almost 200 ministries in the Palmetto state through a variety of services, meetings, and events which include:

  • Community Ministry Leader Events that recognize and celebrate ministry leaders, offer a message of encouragement, and foster Kingdom relationships.

  • Ministry Leader Small Group Gatherings that keep ministry leaders connected by facilitating collaboration, increasing awareness of how to resource one another, and providing encouragement and prayer.

  • One-2-One meetings that provide personal support to those in need of objective/no agenda counsel and processing of life and/or ministry realities.

  • Prayer Retreats that facilitate respite and renewal, as well as focused prayer, silence, and solitude to promote Spirit leadership.

  • Soul Care and Discipleship Workshops and Services for ministry staff and volunteers.

Over the past decade, Ministry to Ministries has proven to be instrumental in the personal lives of ministry leaders pursuing Kingdom impact as the hands and feet of Jesus. Today, it continuously promotes personal and organizational health as a source of encouragement, engagement, and respite. Through a strategic partnership with Mission Increase, M2M likewise provides a vital link for organizational development and support for ministry leadership. This service helps maintain organizational stability, integrity, and longevity. The combination of the personal and organizational resources of M2M then serves to fulfill its ultimate vision to maximize the availability of healthy Christ-centered ministry resources to those in need.

As we look ahead to the next decade of ministry, we are excited to unveil a fresh Ministry to Ministries logo. The logo highlights Ministry to Ministries’ M2M acronym yet more importantly, accentuates the cross. Positioned at the base of M2M, the cross represents our foundation in Christ and the heart of Ministry to Ministries.

Ministry to Ministries is committed to walking alongside ministry leaders in this journey to provide soul care centered on the wisdom, love, and support of Christ, wherein leaders can thrive and fulfill their God-ordained mission and the Kingdom of God will advance. Through M2M, SCCF has an active and knowledgeable relationship with ministry leaders, is better able to connect our clients to ministries, uses donor dollars more efficiently, and makes a more effective collective impact for Christ.
